Working with me


I ask my clients to complete some pre-work, so we have already made some progress before the first session. I will send this pre-work via email, for you to complete online. Please note this pre-work should be completed at least 24 hours before our first session (or on a Thursday if your session is on a Saturday) for me to have time to prepare.

Working hours

Saturday: 9am to 7pm
Sunday to Wednesday: 8am to 7.30pm
Thursday: 8am to 4pm

Booking a session

I use a self-service online booking system that allows you to view and book sessions. You will be given access to the system once you have contacted me using the ‘Contact’ section at the top of the page.

Session format
Individual counselling

I usually see individuals once per week. It is difficult to say how many sessions you will need (everyone is different) and I offer a package of 4 sessions.

Couples counselling

I usually see you together for the first session and then I see you both individually for one session so that we can do individual work, before we resume joint sessions. If further individual work is necessary, we will discuss this together.

It is difficult to say how many sessions you will need (every couple is different) and I offer a package of 6 sessions.

With 6 sessions (for couples) you have good ground to understand what triggers you both, how to deal with the ‘cycle’ in which you end up and correct the behaviours which hurt you both. Of course, it is not a quick fix, further work is often needed. But it’s a good start.

Some of my clients get their fees reimbursed by their medical insurance. I don’t deal with it directly. It depends on the insurance. I can produce a stamped receipt on request.


The first session is paid in cash by the end of the session. All subsequent sessions or packages can be paid in cash or by bank transfer.


Sessions are usually face to face in Umm Suqeim 1, Dubai.

The exact location will be emailed to you once you have booked your first session and I have received your completed pre-work.

Arriving for your session

Please arrive at the time of your session; if you arrive late for any reason we will still stop at the appointed time. However, if you arrive early please wait outside and do not ring the bell until the exact time of your session as I do not have a waiting room. I’d really appreciate it if you don’t even ring a couple of minutes early. Thank you.


I request a 48-hour cancellation notice. If this is not possible, I reserve the right to make the following charges.

Email access between sessions

Please note that I don’t offer counselling over WhatsApp or emails between sessions, unless it is absolutely urgent, or it is related to sessions’ logistics.


It is my intention to ensure that all aspects of therapy should, wherever possible, remain private and confidential. However, if I consider a client (or other individuals connected to them) to be at risk of harm, as would be the case if suicide is being planned, it is my ethical duty to share this information with the relevant professionals, and to inform the client of said duty. If a client reveals knowledge of and/or involvement in a serious crime, then special consideration would be applied to such a case.
